I first picked up a cue at around 10 years old while going fishing with my dad. After our trips, we would often head to local pubs near the fishing venues and play pool. Those early experiences sparked a passion for cue sports that has stayed with me ever since.

Around 15 years ago, that passion developed into a serious commitment to snooker. My dad and I began playing at the club above the Ice Rink in Sheldon, initially playing pool before transitioning to snooker. It didn’t take long before I fell in love with the game — the challenge, the precision, and the mental battle that makes snooker so unique.

Today, I compete in the Premier Division of the Birmingham Efficiency League, representing the Shirley Nots Team at The Shirley Club in Solihull. In 2023, I was proud to become the Efficiency League Singles Champion — a milestone that reflects years of dedication, hard work, and continuous improvement.

Through extensive league and match play, I have developed a strong understanding of the technical, tactical, and mental demands of the game. I now coach at The Shirley Club, where I’m passionate about helping players of all levels improve their technique, match play strategy, and confidence. Sharing my knowledge and seeing others progress is one of the most rewarding parts of my journey in snooker.
